My name is Brandon Spivia.
Do you ocean surf, wake surf, river surf, paddle surf? Any or all of the above?
Wake Surf! And a little bit of all of the above.
How did you get into surfing? In Atlanta or somewhere else?
Hitching rides from friends growing up!
Where and how often do you surf?
Every opportunity I get! Usually at least 4 times a week.
What do you do to advance your surfing/what is your favorite thing about surfing?
Learn techniques from the pros, there’s nothing better than getting out there and learning a new trick after studying it for a while!!
What are your hopes for the Atlanta surfing community in the future?
I hope it progresses to a bigger/better sport! There are endless possibilities behind the boat!
Any surfers in the Atlanta or Georgia community catch your eye or should be spotlighted?
Jake Mitchum has been going absolutely insane lately and I look up to him more than anyone right now… Always fun to get out with him and watch him rip!
