Introduce yourself!

Jenny Serwitz is an active boater, water sports lover, and founder of Pull Watersports.

When it comes to “sharing the stoke”, Jen has literally influenced hundreds of people. When she started PULL Watersports over 10 years ago, she wanted a place that families could come to for anything they needed when they were on and behind their boat. She always wanted PULL to have a Pro Shop feel similar to what she grew up with. A place that you could come to and ask questions, a place that was comfortable, and a place you could dream about that next board or ski.

How did you get into wake surfing?

Jenny was early to recognize wake surfing and that merge of ocean surfing and the lake. She invested in wake surfing and stocked the store with boards long before anyone really knew what it was. She started Thursday Surf Night — a tradition that was designed to help people “figure it out”. From ballast to boards, Jen became a great source.

What is the impact you’ve seen in Lake Lanier and around Atlanta?

Jen ran the Georgia INT for several years — INT is an amateur wakeboarding, skiing, and wake surfing competition. INT brought kids and families together over the love of being on the water and forged lifelong friendships.

She forged new ground and was responsible for working with Lake Lanier Olympic Park to host the first “Motorized Event” allowed at the rowing venue following the Olympics.

What is your favorite thing about surfing?

From early morning runs to pushing sunset — there is nothing like time on a boat with friends and family. Jenny has always been about sharing that experience.
